ANNOUNCING ANDY STANLEY’S VIDEO SERIES “STARTING POINT”
COMMENCING ON WED. SEPTEMBER 20 AND ENDING NOVEMBER 8, 2017
AT ST. GILES PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
The format of each session will be as follows:
6:00 p.m. Pot Luck Dinner (Bring your own food, dishes and cutlery)
6:30 p.m. Video presentation
6:50 p.m. Discussion and large group overview
7:30 p.m. Prayer time
Come for any or all of the activities.
Planned activities will be provided for young children.
Food will be provided for those who are pressed for time because of work.
Cost for the eight session series is $20.00. This includes the book Andy Stanley’s “Starting Point”.

Everyone is invited to gather for lunch after the service to celebrate the 71st anniversary of St. Giles, the first month of our new minister, Reverend Becky Roushorne-Lau and the dedication of all of our churchgoers who served generously and well during the vacancy.
Thank you to the St. Giles LEAD team led by Jim S., the most excellent “Revs” – Christine O’Reilly, Janine Dekker, Rebecca Roushorne, Allan Farris and Judith Farris as well as our musician for the day, Chris M. for a heartfelt and spirit-led day apart to re-orient ourselves as leaders or “first followers” in our own church and in the wider community. And a special thank you to all of those who came from other churches and possibly stepped outside of their comfort zone to network and support each other to become servant leaders for the glory of God. PS. Great lunch, Joanne! And 3 cheers for our techies behind-the-scenes, Geoff and Valdene, who operated the sound and many Powerpoints.
The cakes will be on the griddle starting at 5:00 until 6:30. Come one, come all. Tickets at the door for adults are $7, for children 4-10, it’s $3. Supper includes pancakes, sausages, dessert and drink.
