Donna Stewardson

Donna Joyce Stewardson (nee Wells) passed away peacefully on July 22, 2015 in her 88th year. She led a wonderful life full of the things she cherished most: family, friends, travel and dancing. Her wit and charm will be missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Stewardson, her daughter Judy Cannon, her sister Dorothy Dagg and friend Bill McLean. She is survived by her sister, Velda McFarlane, her brother-in-law William Stewardson, her sister-in-law Ann Stewardson, her children Carol McAdam (Bob), Jim Stewardson (Tania Kingston), her son-in-law Garry Cannon, her grandchildren Dawn Marie, Elise (John), Kyle (Christine), Hillary (Jeremy), Graeme and Chad along with 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are welcome to remember Donna at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Visitation at the funeral home will be held prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Cremation has taken place and internment will be held at a later date at Lakeview Cemetery. Recent Passing – Norm Ross

 Norm Ross At Bluewater Health Monday April 20, 2015 NORMAN EDWARD ROSS passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his loving wife Maisie Ross and his children Stephen Ross (Gloria) and Andrew Ross, as well as his grandchildren Carissa (Cory) Hetu and Kyle (Sarah) Ross, and great grandchildren Tycho Ross and Breahna Hetu. He was predeceased by his parents Norman and Joyce Ross. Norman was a kind and gentle soul who will be missed by everyone who knew him. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and his ashes have been interred with his parents. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and The Kidney Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre Ltd.

Recent Passing – Trudy Young

Her St. Giles family will miss her greatly.  A memorial service will be held at St. Giles on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon following immediately at the Smith Family Centre 1576 London Line, Sarnia.  Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Giles Presbyterian Church, Bluewater Health Palliative Care or to the charity of your choice (cheques only at the funeral home please).  

Recent Passing – Isabell Carter

Although she had moved to London , many members of our congregation will remember Isabell Carter.  She was active in the community and was an original member of our morning book club.  Her son, Jim Carter has passed along these early details for the service in London : Sunday, December 14th, 1:00 Visitation and 2:00 Funeral Service to be followed by a reception.  All takes place at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Rd. Recent Passing – Catherine Annie Kerr


At Bluewater Health on Saturday, November 29, 2014, CATHERINE ANNIE (ROSS) KERR, age 98 of Sarnia passed away. She was the loving wife of the late Russell James Kerr and dear sister of Ettie Noseworthy of London.   Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by sisters Ellen, Mary, Elizabeth, Wilma and her brother George. She was a retiree of Prestolite and had been a longtime member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church.

Recent Passing – Lorna Wallace-Cramer

At St. Joseph’s Hospice on Sunday, October 19, 2014, Lorna Wallace-Cramer passed away at the age of 68. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 770 Lakeshore Rd., Sarnia. Interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. Joseph’s Hospice, or Canadian Diabetes Association (cheques only at the funeral home please).
